Q: How secure is the u-recruit service?

A: Security and privacy of your information is paramount for us. u-recruit uses industry standard SSL technology to encrypt all communication between the user browser and the web server. This is the same technology used when making online payments or processing bank transactions on various web sites. All data, including all candidate resumes, is stored securely in your u-recruit database and outside our network is only accessible via a web browser.

Q: What happens with my data at the end of the contract?

A: At the end of the contract or at any time during the contract we can provide you with copies of all your data in a variety of popular formats including SQL Server, MS Access, dBase, Paradox, Excel, etc and all the resumes in their original format. All your data is then  - at the end of the contract - completely removed from our system.

Q: As a recruiter do I need any special program on my computer in order to run u-recruit?

A: The only program you need is Internet Explorer 4 or higher (5.5 SP2 or higher recommended) connected to the Internet. Internet Explorer is FREE and the latest version can be downloaded from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/ie).

Q: How can I get my candidates to apply for jobs in u-recruit?

A: Using the u-recruit job boards you can post jobs to your corporate and/or your internal candidates job boards. Your candidates connect to the job board via the Internet using a web browser (Internet Explorer 4 or higher or Netscape Navigator 4 are the recommended browsers) and apply for the jobs.

Q: How long does it take to have the service running?

A: The service can be setup within 48 hrs after the contract was signed. In order to properly configure u-recruit, we will get your specific requirements and our consultants will help you configure the system.

Q: Can I have u-recruit installed on my server?

A: Yes. u-recruit is provided either as a service hosted and managed by us or as a product to be installed on your system. For more information and system requirements please contact us.

Q: Can I setup the Internet and/or corporate job boards to be directly accessible from my web site?

A: Yes. We'll provide you with URL's for your job boards. Better still, we can change the "look and feel" of the u-recruit job boards to match your corporate site.

Q: Can I try u-recruit before I sign up?

A: Yes. You can sign up and try all the features of u-recruit, obligation free for 30 days. During the trial you get unlimited access to a SHARED Enterprise edition of u-recruit. The testing environment is provided AS IS. Do not post real jobs neither collect real applications using this environment during the trial.

Q: Can I switch between versions?

A: You can do a one-way, one-off, no charge switch from u-recruit Pro to Enterprise during the contract. Switching to the Enterprise edition will automatically give you all the extra functionality available standard only to users of this edition. However, you can only switch from Enterprise to Pro at the end of the contract.
